SeamScape proposes a counterpoint to irresponsible development that both prevents future sprawl and is amenable to co-existence within urban densities. This concept relies on a series of landscape formations around a dense, interconnected residential core. To promote circulation and visual connections across the site, a grid was formed by overlapping two opposing axes: intersecting sun oriented farmsteads with vehicular focused development. The land striations formed by this grid help delineate different programs and occupations by enveloping or supporting buildings, pastures and walkways.
