Little Green retains a glimmer of the hilltop cabin that once stood alone in another era. The owner requested a transformative addition with a garage that could access the lower driveway below. The exposed structure, originally designed for reasons of economy, took on the vibe of a SoHo loft adapted to the country, using regional patterns in windows, siding, and the like. The highest compliment came from the client when she called her home “a jewel” and added, "This home is good for my soul."
